Dania Atique | Events Experience Director

Dania has been a valued member of the Mosquers team for four years, starting off in Submissions to shortlist films for the festival and showcase the immense talent of Muslim filmmakers worldwide. This year, Dania has taken on the role of Events Experience portfolio, where she will curate the look and feel of all the events to cultivate a unique experience for attendees and amplify the expression of Muslim artists.

Dania was inspired to join the board after attending the festival in 2018. It was the first time she experienced a Muslim-led event that was working towards battling stereotypes through art and storytelling. The festival created a space for relatability and empathy within the Muslim and non-Muslim community that she had never seen before. Dania has continued to be a part of the Mosquers because she genuinely believes that the team is paving the way for authentic Muslim representation.
