Opening Credits is a signature industry panel hosted by the Mosquers Film Festival. Designed to connect Muslim creatives, platforms, and organizations, this event celebrates the talent, creativity, and diversity of Muslims across the creative industries.
The inaugural Opening Credits event took place on March 11, 2022, bringing together 250 Muslim creatives for an evening of networking, collaboration, and inspiration. The event featured a dynamic panel discussion with acclaimed guests: award-winning writer and director Sahar Jahani, Canadian Screen Award-winning actor Hamza Haq, writer and creator of Little Mosque on the PrairieZarqa Nawaz, and the 16th Government Film Commissioner and Chairperson of the National Film Board of Canada, Claude Joli-Coeur.
