What is The Mosquers?
We are a film festival that aims to educate, entertain and build bridges through showcasing the diverse Muslim experience. Year after year, the festival pursues new ways to introduce both Muslims and non-Muslims to the most original and authentic storytelling. It attracts talent from across North America and around the world. Join us for our Annual Screening and Awards Night in Edmonton, Canada.

What can I expect at the Mosquers?
The Mosquers consists of a red carpet gala, live performances, the Mosquers Finalists Premier Screening, the Mosquers Awards, and our Official After-party, POPCORN (limited tickets sold separately).
Is it a family-friendly event?
The Mosquers prides itself on being a platform for artists to tell their stories however they see fit; however, in an effort to ensure that the content we showcase is as accessible as possible we do enforce a strict 14A rating for all Official Selections. Films that do not meet this rating criteria will not be screened at the Mosquers, however filmmakers are welcome to make adjustments in order to meet this requirement prior to our finalists selection.
While we make every effort to ensure that this event is family-friendly, we cannot always guarantee that there won't be some content some viewers may find offensive. In such cases, ample warning is provided to audience members prior to the screening.
What are the movies rated?
For all Official Selections, we enforce a strict 14A rating - Suitable for viewing by persons 14 years of age or older. Persons under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. May contain violence, coarse language, and/or sexually suggestive scenes.
